So it’s safe to say there is a dead layer on the paintwork that ruin the look of the car. So the best solution is to do a cut and polish. There are multiple steps involved in a Cut and Polish Like clay treatment, Cutting fine layer of clear coat and application of sealant wax. which will help to remove most of the scratches, swirl marks, foreign particles and oxidation to bring back the new look for your vehicle while protecting the Clear coat.

How often should I do a cut and polish?

Is cut and polish bad for the paint?

UV rays and some of the foreign particles like tree saps, bugs will damage minor percentage of the paintwork, so there is a dead layer of the paintwork that makes the car loose the shine, so the cut and polish only removes this dead layer to bring back the shine, and as a part of cut and polish we apply layer of sealant wax to minimise the damage that could occur for certain time period. So Cut and polish will not damage the paint work rather it’s a part of the process to maintain the paintwork in a good condition.

Will cut and Polish removes Paint over spray and concreate/ cement drips and concrete splatter from the car ?

NO, Cut and Polish main focus is to remove the light scratches and swirl marks and oxidation from paintwork. In this process we take off most of the forging particles except for Paint overspray Concrete and cement residues etc. these overspray’s has special chemicals to make it bond with any surface that it touches. So removal of these overspray involves multiple additional steps to take off the particle without damaging the paint. as a part of Paint overspray, Concrete/ cement drips and concrete splatter removal process, we do a cut and polish as a final stage of overspray removal treatment. In average we do 5 vehicles a month with special foreign particle removals.
